The Return

Okay we're back. We're done mourning for our lost freedom and the legitimate right of all Americans to vote and have their vote counted. It's now official; we're slaves living in a slave state and we're expected to keep quiet about it and like it. I can't go to the damn dollar store and buy anything without getting a receipt, but this is too much to ask were my vote in concerned. We can all vote, but we can expect those votes to not count if we have the audacity to try and vote while openly democrat or slightly darker than the folks doing the counting.

Fine.

As a slave, I will act as a slave. Thank you so much Republicans for clearing this up and making it plain. No more ambiguity, no more illusions, we are all the property of the state, and our lives, and our children's lives, are to be disposed of as the state sees fit.
So farewell free speech, Miranda rights and all the rest of it, I will not look to my status as an American to protect me anymore.

Meanwhile, like most of the rest of you, I continue to cruise under the radar and try to live my life as best I can. Work is very busy after my recent promotion, but I'm really quite happy here, despite the rapidly expanding workload. This weekend Gina and I are headed down for some final, last minute pick up shots for Revelations and looking forward to seeing everyone again.
In other news both Gina and I have picked up parts in Rising Phoenix Productions original Sci-fi Opus "Dark Ops". Gina plays a deadly but sexy assassin and I will be playing the grasping, power mad Vice Admiral Wells. We're very excited to be involved in this new project and were very impressed with what we saw at the auditions this past weekend. It was kind of nostalgic for me because after the auditions they invited us to stick around for their production meeting and it was very much like an old meeting of the U.S.S. Integrity. I really felt a sense of having found a whole clan of kindred spirits. So we're keeping busy and things, for the moment, at least personally, are looking up.
