This is a very popular page in my list of pages and the reasons are obvious. I will ignore all that though, and just tell you about the costumes themselves. On Lara we made everything except the the shorts, which we shopped for endlessly. The body suit was machine sewn by our girl Talia and we originally had cut out two and dyed them differently to make certain we would get the right effect. The belt is made from upholstery vinyl, plastic canvas, and gun holsters we found at a local flea market. The buckle is aluminum flashing spray painted gold over a cut up video tape box, to give it the right bulk. The backpack is brown vinyl over a regular old cardboard box, lot's of hot glue and patience went into its construction. The boots were another flea market find as were the glasses and other props. The guns are just spray painted water guns. Also that's really Gina's hair.

Snake Plissken was another flea market hunters costume. The shirt was something I found that was close to what I needed in the local Hot Topic and altered from there, again with Talia's help. The pants were just regular white pants that had to be spray painted to get the right effect. The leg guards were the same thing that catchers wear in baseball. I bought them for next to nothing at the local flea market and reworked them from there. I also made the patch which is smaller than the one he wears in the movie, but helped me look more like him. Also, that is my real hair too. (Like anyone cares.)
